A brief explanation of how magnet mounting is done on suspended ceilings: The long side of the magnet sticks to the direct hanger before it is bent. The CD profile is placed against the upper, shorter part of the magnet, resting on the direct hanger. The second arm of the direct hanger bends and snaps onto the other long side of the magnet. The profile is attached to the direct hanging by the magnet. For leveling, the CD profile is moved up or down so that the laser beam overlaps the selected auxiliary mark on the magnet. The first auxiliary line is 27mm from the end, which allows using the magnet to mount CD profiles without using a leading UD profile.
