FEATURES:

MAXIDECOR Marmorino is a spectacular decorative plaster of exceptional quality, produced on the basis of a water dispersion with an acrylic binder, specially selected fillers, special additives and pigments. MAXIDECOR Marmorino forms an extremely waterproof coating, with good vapor permeability, harmless to humans and the environment. It is intended for the protection and decoration of interior wall surfaces where it is necessary to create an effect providing an artistic and historical appearance. It can be tinted according to the MAXIDECOR Marmorino color chart.

OPERATIING TEMPARATURE: The optimal operating temperature is from +10 °C to +25 °C. It should not be used below +5 °C.

CONSUMPTION RATE: 2–3 m²/L, depending on the roughness and absorption of the base, the technique and the method of application.

EXPIRY DATE AND STORAGE: 18 months from the production date indicated on the packaging. Store in original, well-closed and undamaged packaging at a temperature of +5 °C to +25 °C, protected from direct sunlight.

USE:
The surface must be: dry, wearable, clean and free of loosely connected parts, dust, water-soluble salts, grease and other impurities. Mechanically remove old paint that is not well bonded. Rough surfaces are leveled with acrylic smoothing mixture GLETOLIN G. After preparing the surfaces, the application of MAXIDECOR Marmorino begins, which is delivered ready for use, it only needs to be mixed until completely homogenized. MAXIDECOR Marmorino, tinted according to the MAXIMIX system and MAXIDECOR Marmorino from different batches and production dates must be homogenized! Apply the first layer with a standard stainless steel trowel about 1 mm thick over the entire surface, trying to achieve as flat a surface as possible. Hold the mallet at an angle of ≈ 15°. Before further processing, the applied material dries for at least 6 hours, at temp. from 20 °C. To make the surface as smooth as possible, after drying it can be sanded with sandpaper 600 or 800. After sanding, the surface should be cleaned of dust. The second layer is applied with a trapezoidal stainless steel trowel with rounded edges or a spatula. The material is applied with cross movements on top of the previous layer, partially covering it. Note that when the material is applied, the edges of the placed material partially overlap ("puncturing" phase). Hold the mallet at an angle of ≈ 30°. Additional processing is possible after min. 12 hours at temp. from 20 °C. Apply the third layer with a trapezoidal stainless steel trowel with rounded edges or a spatula so that the material is applied in the same way as when applying the second layer, only in this case it is applied to the surface where the second layer is not applied, but so that the edges of the new layer pass through the applied second layer. Hold the mallet at an angle of ≈ 45°. After min. 24 h at temp. from 20 °C, start sanding the entire surface with 1000 grit sandpaper using light pressure. After sanding, clean the surface of dust and smooth the material with a trapezoidal stainless steel mallet with rounded edges. To achieve an even better appearance, it is recommended to lightly sand the edges of the malamask with 1000 grit sandpaper. In this case, clean the edges of dust formed by sanding the edges. Polish the material with firm but even and controlled pressure. The polishing process emphasizes the shine and luster of the material. After polishing the material, MAXIDECOR Natural Wax can be applied, following the manufacturer's instructions. In this way, additional shine and even better washing resistance of the material is achieved. After use, wash tools immediately with water.
