FEATURES:

MAXIDECOR Concrete is a special decorative dry plaster intended for decorative protection of internal and external mineral surfaces. It is carefully created from specially selected marble materials, high-quality gray cement, polymers and additives to achieve the effect of concrete. It is characterized by excellent adhesion to mineral surfaces, good vapor permeability, exceptional water repellency and resistance to atmospheric influences and UV radiation.

OPERATIING TEMPARATURE: The optimal operating temperature is from +10 °C to +25 °C. It should not be used below +5 °C.

CONSUMPTION RATE: The optimal operating temperature is from +10 °C to +30 °C. It should not be used below +5 °C, as well as in strong sun, wind, fog and rain. Under optimal conditions, freshly applied surfaces should be protected from atmospheric influences for at least 24 hours.

EXPIRY DATE AND STORAGE: ≈ 2 kg/m², depending on the technique and method of application and the quality of the prepared surfaces.

USE:

The surface must be: flat, dry, clean, free of loosely connected parts, dust, water-soluble salts, grease and other impurities that can prevent good adhesion to the substrate. The plastered surfaces dry for 28 days, and the final layer of reinforcing glue for 7 days. Before application, the surface must be primed. For newly leveled and insufficiently load-bearing surfaces, the walls must first be primed with MAXIKRIL Hidrosol. After MAXIKRIL Hidrosol has dried, white ROLOGRUND is applied.

Material preparation: Add MAXIDECOR Concrete 20 kg to 5.0-5.5 L of water and mix until a homogeneous mixture is obtained without lumps, but not too long to prevent the formation of foam, which can cause problems during application. If this happens, let the finished mixture sit for 15-20 minutes and then apply it. Use the prepared mixture within 2 hours.

Application technique: Apply MAXIDECOR Concrete in two coats. Apply the material and process with a stainless trowel. Apply the first layer evenly, trying to get as flat a surface as possible. Apply the second layer after ≈6 hours, respectively on the dried first layer. The total thickness of the layers should be approximately 1.5–2.0 mm. 10 to 15 minutes after applying the second layer (depending on the time), or after the material starts to dry, start creating the texture with the appropriate tools. Most often, the material is pressed with the entire surface of the malamask, so that a relief texture is formed. Then, with a clean trowel at a slight angle, level the surface so that you get a smooth surface with here and there imperfections that characterize real concrete. Immediately wash tools with water after use.

Painting technique: If necessary, MAXIDECOR Concrete can be painted with MAXIDECOR Velatura semi-transparent coating, at least 24 hours after application. If you do not wish to change its color, MAXIDECOR Concrete can be protected with HIDROFOB M silicone coating according to the manufacturer's instructions.
