MAXIDECOR® Transfer Lack transparent transfer varnish for metal wall foil

MAXIDECOR Transfer Lack is a colorless varnish based on acrylic binders and additives. It is applied to the already prepared internal wall surfaces, on which the MAXIDECOR Metallico foil should be glued. It is easily applied on a painted wall or on a wall decorated with one of the MAXIDECOR decorative techniques, most often on textured materials such as MAXIDECOR Travertino or Concrete. The final effect of the metal walls is achieved by removing the foil after 1 hour. The foil must not remain stuck to the wall for more than 2 hours. If the material to which the film is attached is not completely dry, the film may become discolored.

The surface must be: dry, clean, free of loosely attached parts, dust, water-soluble salts, grease and other impurities that can prevent good adhesion to the substrate. The smoother the surface, the easi
er the film will transfer to the surface. On the wall where you intend to place the film, apply MAXIDECOR Transfer Lack with a roller or brush in one thick layer. The foil is stuck to the wall with the reverse matte side, immediately after applying MAXIDECOR Transfer Lack. Apply the varnish on an area not larger than 2 m², otherwise the varnish may dry before applying the foil. In order for the film to adhere to the wall as well as possible, press it further against the wall with your hand or with a dry microfiber roller to copy as well as possible and to release trapped air. Remove the foil after 1 hour. The foil must not remain stuck to the wall for more than 2 hours. It is very important that MAXIDECOR Travertino/Concrete dries for at least 24 hours before applying the film, and each layer of other decorative coating or paint for at least 6 hours. If the material to which the film is attached is not completely dry, the film may become discolored.

Operating temperature: The optimal operating temperature is from +10 °C to +30 °C. It should not be used below +5 °C.

Consumption: 7–9 m²/L per layer, depending on the roughness and absorbency of the substrate, the technique and the method of laying.

Shelf life and storage: 18 months from the production date indicated on the packaging. Store in original, well-closed and undamaged packaging, at a temperature of +5 °C to +25 °C, protected from direct sunlight.
