HIDROMAX® Liquid Foil flexible 1K dispersion waterproofing membrane

How to use:

The surface must be: wearable, clean and free of loosely bonded parts, dust, water-soluble salts, grease and other impurities. Concrete surfaces, cement screeds and mortars must be aged for at least 28 days. Fill large dents and damaged elements with KERAMOL glue or repair mortar. It should not be applied on cement substrates with a moisture content of more than 3%, on substrates with capillary absorption of moisture, on gypsum plasters with a moisture content greater than 1% and on gypsum screeds with a moisture content greater than 0.5%. Smooth surfaces such as old tiles and terracotta should be sanded and dusted beforehand.HIDROMAX Liquid Foil is supplied ready to use. It should be mixed well and should not be diluted. The material is applied with a strong brush or a long-haired roller in two layers with a total thickness of at least 1.0 mm and not more than 1.5 mm. Apply the second layer crosswise over the first one after at least 4 hours of applying the first layer, when the first layer dries, darkens and acquires a matte surface. Corners, sinks and pipe openings must be insulated with HIDROMAX insulation tapes, which are pressed into the first layer and covered with the second. Further treatment of the surface, respectively the laying of a solid layer (ceramic tiles, stone, mosaic, concrete, etc.) is possible after at least 12 hours of applying the second layer.

Operating temperature: The optimal operating temperature is from +10 °C to +30 °C. It should not be used at temperatures lower than +5 °C and higher than +35 °C, as well as in strong sun, wind, fog and rain.
Consumption: 1.0-1.3 kg/m²/mm in two coats depending on the roughness and absorption of the substrate, the technique and methods of application. 
Shelf life and storage: 18 months from the production date indicated on the packaging. Store in original, well-closed and undamaged packaging at a temperature of +5 °C to +25 °C, protected from direct sunlight.
